*sprawls, limp and helpless*

Ah, Switch. Oh. Oh.

God, you and Severus together are going to kill me. I can't tell you what this did to me.

In terms other than the orgasmic, beautiful writing (His eyes were dark and dilated, and he had both of his hands behind him, white-knuckled, braced on his chair), and characterisation (that was so ridiculous it was almost charming, and Severus would have laughed if it wouldn't have spoiled the moment), and more of those dark Snape-isms:

It won't stop you from performing tasks you despise, for the people you despise.

Hexing the door, and the manipulations over the Potion, and Harry, so sweetly played that I can't find it in myself to feel one ounce of pity. Your work, when it chooses, makes me over into the darkest side of Severus that you portray: feral, and merciless, and eager for the kill. It strips me of civilisation, really, for the time that I spend reading. Such strength you have in words!

Dear Switch, do write more. Soon.

SQUEE OMG!

Squee squee squee!!!11!1!1

*dances in an undignified fashion*

--Um. Darn, you remove all that pretense of dignity from me. My writing may or may not strip you of civilisation, but your reviews certainly do strip me of any sense of propriety!

*glomps you and does all sorts of indecent things*

Harry, so sweetly played that I can't find it in myself to feel one ounce of pity.

That's Atra's Harry. He just begs to be played with--she writes him so, defiant and yet utterly incapable of understanding his own vulnerability. How could Severus not take advantage of that? Gah. I have an unfortunate habit of entirely losing my head around her--and around her Harry. Severus becomes a wolf just barely reined in, and it's my mouth that floods with saliva, as if I were him.

*coughs*

... the darkest side of Severus that you portray: feral, and merciless, and eager for the kill.

Again, that's what Atra does to me. And it has a lot to do with my feelings in certain RL situations, feelings which, unfortunately, cannot find a safe outlet. That's probably where the sense of urgency comes from. Fiction's the best catharsis, yeah?

Atra's written the next part already, and I'm working on mine as we speak. It should be done in a day or two.

Hehe. I love you as completely-in-control-Dom!Switch, but to get to you for even a moment and lift a corner of that cloak of dignity... it's very touching, on a human level. :) I'm glad to bring squee - you deserve it, one writer to another.

And, now, I do feel a certain smugness as a sub... *grins* I'm sure you'll break me even more strictly for it, of course.

Severus becomes a wolf just barely reined in, and it's my mouth that floods with saliva, as if I were him.

Um. Yeah. I have the *exact* same reaction. Your fics do on occasion, actually make me drool.

Fiction's the best catharsis, yeah?

Oh, dear God, yes. All that darkness, safely contained in a computer screen. :)

Look forward to it. Immensely.

LOL, yes, all Doms do get glowy and squee-y if complimented properly. I'm just particularly affectionate when I squee, that's all. ;)

I'm sure you'll break me even more strictly for it...

Of course. All that... affection... must find an outlet, mustn't it?

... darkness, safely contained in a computer screen.

Hm. Severus is actually rather tame; what I really want is similar to what Walden has, but like I said, no safe outlet.

*whistles and returns to writing next part*
